This Privacy Policy explains how Brick Blitz ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you play the game. This page is maintained by the App owner to answer common privacy questions about Brick Blitz. By creating an account and playing, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
- Account data: Your email address and a unique user ID when you sign up with Email/Password or Google Sign-In.
- Profile data: The username and country you set during sign-up. Username and country are locked permanently after setting to keep leaderboards fair.
- Country detection: On first launch we estimate your country from your IP address via a third-party service (ipapi.co) and store the two-letter country code. VPN, proxy, or datacenter IPs are rejected to prevent location spoofing.
- Gameplay data: Your current and highest level, level progress and star ratings, best score per level, coins, diamonds, hearts, owned and equipped ball skins, power-ups (multiball tier, bombs), and achievements.
- Leaderboard & tournament data: Your username, country, score, and tournament points are stored so you can be ranked against other players globally and by country.
- Referral data: Your personal referral code, the code you were invited with (if any), and the progress of friends you invited toward the referral reward.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
- To save your progress so you continue exactly where you left off.
- To place you on the global and country leaderboards.
- To credit referral rewards when invited friends reach Level 5.
- To show in-game virtual rewards (coins and diamonds).
- To keep rankings fair by locking username and country.
Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google): Provides user authentication and the database that stores your account, progress, and scores. Your data is protected by Firebase security rules so only you can read and edit your own profile and progress.
- ipapi.co: Used once to estimate your country from your IP address for regional leaderboards.
- Unity Ads (Unity Technologies): Serves the banner and the optional rewarded video ads that let you revive after a loss, refill hearts, double your score, or get free bombs. Unity Ads may use your device identifiers to serve ads per its own policy.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Virtual Rewards
Coins, diamonds, badges, tournament prizes, and leaderboard ranks are strictly virtual engagement incentives and in-game achievements for entertainment and progression. They hold no monetary, cash, or commercial value. No cash payouts or real-money gambling are offered.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Firebase's database with Row-Level-style security rules. Each player can read and write only their own profile and progress. Leaderboard and referral entries are validated server side so scores can only increase and rewards cannot be duplicated.
Children's Privacy
Brick Blitz is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights & Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. To delete your data, contact our support email below. Because username and country are locked for fair rankings, deletion removes your leaderboard entries along with your profile.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
